Contiem has long been engaged in producing applications to produce high quality output whether in PDF format or hard-copy. The requirement for print-based output is still common in the Aerospace and Defence world and is likely to be so for some time yet. Several current projects and major manufacturers require output in traditional style handbooks as well as providing the raw SGML/XML content.
All our plug-ins within our Eclipse range have functionality in place to deliver content as XML, SGML and/or PDF output. Contiem can also provide tools for the publication of SGML and XML S1000D Data Modules to PDFs. These tools consolidate S1000D Data Modules to a single publication and can based on a standard Publication Module or a custom list of files.
The Aerospace and Defence team’s work also involves creation of publications that are formatted according to a client’s own in‑house style. We can use the process, tools and technologies developed for our standard products to achieve the specific results that individual clients may require.
Additionally, we can provide products from third parties to support other delivery. We regularly recommend tools from other system providers for the creation of Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) or an Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP), for example.
