Mekon became part of Contiem at the beginning of 2023, bringing together several different companies with distinct skills and expertise around the content creation, management, and delivery specialisms. Mekon had a pedigree of over 30 years, providing services and software to global clients from the very top of government and industry. The following history shows how the 3 different divisions of Mekon brought a wide-range of specialist skills and knowledge.

Technology was always at the heart of Mekon and integrating technology into our customer’s businesses to make them even more efficient was always our aim.

Over the years we were fortunate to work with some of the leading companies across the world on a broad range of projects.

This experience, combined with our developers’ focus on and knowledge of our customers needs, led to Mekon launching a number of highly successful applications, plug-ins and add-ons to deal with common issues often over-looked by the major product vendors, who take a broader view of the market place.

In the Aerospace and Defence team we drew on that experience from across the Mekon family.

Mekon Ltd worked across all industries providing content expertise wherever and however it was needed. The team of consultants and developers had the insight and experience to offer strategic guidance and training, but also the technical capabilities to deliver solutions

Aerospace & Defence team

The Aerospace and Defence team were a specialist division within Mekon Ltd, bringing together the knowledge of developers, publications specialists and operators of commercial and military systems. They understood this specialist world from the inside, and from years of providing solutions.

Congility

Congility provided solutions for the publishing and intelligent delivery of structured content. Congility Content Server (formerly known as DITAweb) for personalized content delivery, Congility Mobile for offline content access and IdXML for the publishing of DITA content into Adobe InDesign
